This booklet has been developed by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) alongside various health and government bodies, including the Home Office, the Department of Health, the Scottish Executive, the Health Education Board for Scotland, the National Assembly for Wales, and the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland. It aims to help business owners and managers, particularly those of small and medium-sized enterprises, deal with drug-related problems at work by providing a basic understanding of the signs, effects, and risks of drug misuse and setting out best practices for addressing these issues.
