Introduction

Slim-profile double glazing has gained interest for improving thermal performance and reducing energy consumption in historic buildings without significantly altering their appearance. This paper, supported by Historic Scotland, consists of three research reports examining the thermal performance and embodied energy of slim-profile double glazing systems. The research was led by Changeworks for the City of Edinburgh Council and involved collaborations with various stakeholders.
